Industrial hydrogen is used for the desulphurisation of fuels, which prevents the formation of sulfur dioxide as the fuel is burned. Air Liquide understands the needs of today’s refineries and provides economical solutions for industrial gas and utility requirements.

We will evaluate the best means of industrial hydrogen supply and couple it with synthesis gas, cogeneration and steam supply as appropriate. To complete the offer, we provide solutions for carbon dioxide capture and recovery.

Air Liquide Global E&C Solutions designs and constructs large-scale Steam Methane Reformers for customers in the chemical and petrochemical industries. We are able to adapt to a wide range of plant sizes and feedstocks, including natural gas, refinery gases, naphtha, LPG or a mixture of two or more of these gases. Used in a fuel cell, industrial hydrogen combines with oxygen from the air to produce electricity, generating water as its only by-product.
